Ed has been Drag Racing since 1996. Ed is married, with two children and is Vice President - Western Region for Anixter Wire and Cable. Ed's daughter, Francesca, competes in Quick Rod/Super Comp class and Casey competes in Competition Eliminator and Super Street/Hot Rod. Ed's wife Cynthia helps with looking after the weather station, fuel and tires. Eddy also campaigns a Top Dragster and 48 Anglia. Ed's track record a two-time winner of the NHRA Canadian National Open Drag Racing Series, prevailing in final Super Gas class points in both 1998 and 2000. In total he has 13 NHRA "Wallys" on his mantel representing the 2 NHRA National Open Championships, 8 individual event titles, and 1 for Best Appearing Car in Las Vegas. (8 Wally's in the Anglia and 2 in the Top Comp dragster). Ed's first IHRA National event win came in 2003, at the Rocky Mountain Nationals in Quick Rod Class and his additional Ironman came in 2004 and 2007 winning the Rocky Mountain Nationals this time in Pro Nostalgia Funny Car.
