1st Round

Tebb in his hugger orange “Bad Goat” takes on Darrell “the Burnout King” Webb in his familiar Vette to a very close race with Cal taking the slight starting line advantage running a 7.220 and hanging on to the quicker ET of Webb’s at a 7.218

Elliott’s electric green Cuda red light to Sekura who runs a 7.29 to Rod’s 7.33

Steckler runs down Cory Kincaid’s classic 55 Chevy with a 7.24 to Cory’s slowing 7.33

Plaizier takes on Bussey’s Z28 Camaro at his last race, as Jason moves into Nitro Nostalgia Funny Car next year. Plaizier takes the staring line advantage for the win, as they run identical times of 7.27

Semi Finals

Here we saw the return of the Drayton Valley final, between Tebbs GTO and Plaizier’s Chevy and the outcome was the same as Plaizier took a starting line advantage for the win. The next pair up saw Joey Steckler's Vette break out by 6 one thousands of a second to Sekura’s 7.27

Finals

This was a match up of our Mission Wally winner Ron Sekura running the team Sekura Trans Am against our newly crowned champion Eddy Plaizier running the Team ACE 37 Chevy for, with almost identical reaction times, Sekura came out victorious with a 7.27 to Plaizier’s 7.33, at the top end there was lots of laughter and water dowsing as both teams ran out the final of the 2009 season.
