1999 He started stock car racing on numerous tracks around Alberta.
2000 Came the expansion of Rapid Fire Motor Sports Park, adding a 1/8 mile full dirt oval, new mud bog drag pits, tractor pulling track, extreme dirt bike jumping, monster truck track, tuff truck track. Highlights included major Sprint car races and some of the top blown alcohol mud dragsters in the country.

2007 Ron & Corey were approached by Kincad Racing to get a Trans AM funny car running and compete with the IBAA. Licensing and experience was the first priority for Ron and Corey, spending time in the Castrol Bubble Up funny car and their own car.

2008 Ron & Corey have made a serious commitment to funny car racing. The purchase of a Top Alcohol Funny Car chassis from Trevor Lebsac and a brand new Keith black olds aluminum 540, Brodex heads, 14 -71 blower, Lenco trans., on board computer monitoring, and more, makes Sekura Bros funny car one of the top pieces of equipment in their class.
